Fans believe that whatever the fate of Jon Snow would be in the upcoming book is likely to be his fate in the next season of “Game of Thrones.” While there are already indications that Jon Snow would live to fight another day considering that actor Kit Harrington, who plays the role, has signed for a contract for the full Season 6, fans would like a good validation. “The Winds of Winter” will certainly quench their longing for that much-needed spoiler and validation.
For his part, George Martin said that he has been busy on the book lately that he had to cancel two convention appearances including the upcoming ComicCon 2015 in San Diego, California just to get more time to write and finish “The Winds of Winter.”
He added that he has also turned down a lot of interviews including an offer to write the script or screenplay for one of the episodes of “Game of Thrones” Season 6, indicating that his priority is to finish “The Winds of Winter” before taking on any other preoccupations, details Express of the UK.
The author has penned episodes for each of the previous seasons of “Game of Thrones,” so if he does away with his own pattern for Season 6, his schedule might be real hectic this time around.
Major cast members of “Game of Thrones” will be appearing at the San Diego ComicCon event next week before they go back to filming a few months down the road.
