‘The Sims 4’ to Introduce a European-Inspired World in ‘Get Together’ Expansion Pack in November

Just a few days after game developer EA Maxis released the latest DLC to the life simulation video game “The Sims 4” called “Cool Kitchen Stuff,’ it has announced that the next expansion pack to the game will be coming in November.

‘Cool Kitchen Stuff’ was released on August 11 which catered to the foodie Sims among players or those who like to see their Sims spending much of their time on the kitchen creating cuisines and preparing food stuff with various equipment to make cooking and preparations easier.

The new DLC pack contained new breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals, as well as cooking appliances for player Sims. It also came with other items including an Ice Cream maker that contains 30 different flavours to satisfy the Sims’ thirst and need to cool down on hot summer days. It also includes other stuff needed to upgrade the Sim’s kitchen with new, sleek appliances, and furnishings meant to help give the room a modern flare.

From stylish cabinets with frosted glass doors to new stainless steel appliances, the stuff pack is filled with awesome new items to totally reinvent the Sim’s kitchen. Player Sims will look good as they create new delicacies thanks to new hairstyles and apparel perfect for any chef-to-be.

The latest DLC also added a new dishwasher for free in a future update. “The Sims 4: Cool Kitchen Stuff” also made a good addition to players collection especially if they already have “The Sims 4: Get to Work” expansion pack. The new food items would make a great addition to a bakery as well.

New city to be explored

Officially called ‘The Sims 4: Get Together,” the upcoming DLC will bring a new city for players to explore and new Sims to meet as new friends.

The expansion pack which will come in November will introduce Windenburg, a European-inspired world that features a vibrant, modern architecture and classic buildings and styles. The place will be filled with new things for player Sims to see and do, from the charming countryside to the bustling town square and luxurious island, details the Christian Post.

Accordingly, “The Sims 4: Get Together” DLC shall also be focused on group activities in the form of clubs wherein each one will vary in behaviours and styles. Several pre-made clubs will come with the expansion pack, but players will have the option to customize their own club, as expected.

Sims can join as many as three clubs at a time. While the developer has yet to disclose all the details about the clubs, initial reports indicate that there will be a foodies club, kids club, fitness club, among others.

The ‘Cool Kitchen Stuff’ trailer

In time for the release on August 11 of the latest DLC to “The Sims 4” called ‘Cool Kitchen Stuff,’ a less-than-a-minute trailer to the stuff pack was released by the game publisher EA to convince players into finally considering of having a kitchen in their respective Sim homes and get a kick out of cooking and preparing dishes, notes Tech Times.

The trailer showed off the next-level kitchens that players can cook up for their Sims with new stuff pack, complete with new furnishings, décor, and even outfits that are certainly more than just aprons and oven mitts.

It has been promised to gamers that once they get “The Sims 4: Cool Kitchen Stuff,” they shall also get a dishwasher into their homes for free. But even those who will not purchase the new stuff pack will be able to add the dishwasher because of a new free update to the game.

  1. Quite frankly, I’m irked. There are all these expansions and stuff packs coming out, and they’re useless. We’re supposed to pay 40 dollars, for what? Another new town? (Flashing back to Magnolia’s Letdown and Lamecrest) Not to mention, I don’t really care about a club like feeling. Do any of us really? We can make friends, when they’re adults it really doesn’t matter too much. Because what are they doing? That’s right, careers and families. Yet, we are left here with babies that hardly move, no toddlers, and children and teens (who basically are adults) who we can’t even help them with homework. Family life has been killed, and they are hurting for it. I know some people hated toddlers, but a LOT play for the family life aspect. There are no other games that have it. Yet friends? There are at least 50 iPhone app games I can name off that have that aspect. Clubs? Reminds me of Sims Urbz for GBA. Yes, it was a cool feature. A forty dollar feature? No.

For the one year anniversary, I expected more. There were rumors of pets, and I was thrilled. What a let down. I have given this game a years worth of my time, and I no longer will play until they add family life into it. I hate spending nine dollars worth for thirty useless ice cream flavors, a new cabinet set, and two new hairstyles. Come on EA. Bring back what made sims awesome. The magical expansions, the island expansions with mermaids that won’t glitch, seasons, holidays, families, bring it back.

  2. I completely agree with Hwheels. I am so dissapointed with how the sims4 is playing out. They keep giving us these useless stuff packs and expansions (although the spa one is pretty neat with yoga and all)

I could care less about being apart of clubs. I mean is that the big seller?? How about you guys give us what is supposed to be in the BASE game to begin with? You barely just gave us dishwashers and you want to release an expansion that has to do being apart of a fitness club???
I am every ounce a hardcore sims fan. Have been from the sims 1 and It is like they are just asking us to give up on the sims. Please give us what we want!!! I know when I filled out a survey I sure as hell did not care for the stuff they are producing.

  3. Wah wah wah someone call the waaaaaahbulance, I’m sure all the features we all want will be added within time, I think this has potential to be a great game, people are justs fucking impatient, and can’t be bothered to wait, their building a foundation starting with the basics things take time until things start getting better. But I have over 200 mods (but I also have a ridiculously good system that even boasts an over clocking feature and others I have no idea what to use, this game is an utter joke to it) It takes time to make thousands of dog and cat breeds and other fun related shit that would be included in such an expansion as well as toddlers *yawn* ( i have zero maternal instinct within me) anyways that’s my opinion
