We’re curious how the newly released weapons are going to impact the balance of “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered” and how the game is going to look in a few weeks/months.
Perhaps the ones complaining about the possible negative impacts that this will have are actually a vocal minority and this could turn out to be a great addition to the game after all. We’ll find out for sure once players have had a chance to play around with the new guns for a while, and we’ll be keeping a curious eye on discussions about the game to see what the feedback is like.
This could also give a valuable insight into what players think of the franchise as a whole in its current state, and whether Activision could be looking at a successful release this year.
If things turn out badly for them, then we wouldn’t be surprised if they really did switch to a less regular release schedule than their current one. Releasing the franchise’s new installments every two years could perhaps bring better results, and it could also allow Activision to free up their resources to some extent as well. After all, working with so many studios on the same franchise can inevitably lead to some problems, and it must be a logistical nightmare behind the scenes, something that could potentially be alleviated by optimizing that schedule a bit.
