‘The Legend of Zelda’ on Wii U Delayed Release Further Puts High Expectations on Waiting Gamers!

Fans of the “The Legend of Zelda” on Wii U were extremely dismayed when the game was not mentioned at all at the E3 and in its stead was “The Legend of Zelda: Tri-Force Heroes” and the remake of “The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past” both on 3DS.

Some of the avid gamers of the Zelda game believes that “The Legend of Zelda: Tri-Force Heroes” is way better than “The Legend of Zelda” on Wii U if the gameplay trailers of the two games are compared.

Nintendo showcased the gameplay trailer of “The Legend of Zelda” on Wii U at the E3 2014 while the playable demo of “The Legend of Zelda: Tri-Force Heroes” on 3DS was showcased at the E3 2015 and also at the just-concluded Gamescom 2015.

According to gaming critics, the Wii U game looks pathetic compared to the upcoming Zelda game on 3DS because it did not offer a clear view of what to expect from Link’s full-fledged console quest. It also did not prove anything about how the title would play.

With the emergence of the new generation Nintendo 3DS gaming console, the sales of its Wii U gaming platform has considerably slipped. Obviously, the 3DS is the Japanese gaming company’s way of keeping up with the next generation gaming consoles of Sony’s PlayStation 4 and Microsoft’s Xbox One.
