The Expendables 4 Brings Changes And Fans Might Freak Out!

For the last few years, all of our favorite action heroes from movies passed have been taking on the world in a movie series called The Expendables. The movie is over the top action and one-liners as far as the eye can see, however, with a new movie in the works, it appears that some changes are coming down the pipeline. The Expendables 4 is not expected to be released until next year, but speculation, rumors, spoilers and teasers have already been in the news recently.

Just like any other action movie, there has to be a villain as well. Sometimes, it is an actor that you have never heard of since you know in the end he is going to meet his demise, but in The Expendables, that person is also played by an action hero. Even if the actor is not known for that type of character, that is how it goes and for The Expendables 4, the villain is expected to be none other than the Rock, Dwayne Johnson.

Not that he has never played the role of the bad guy, but most of the audience is going to remember him as the butt-kicking wrestler that took over the WWE for so many years. Other changes for the brand new installment to the series is the main character. For the last three movies, it was clear that Sylvester Stallone was the leader, but that is about to change if the rumors pan out.

The speculation was that in order for the movies to continue, Stallone would have to be replaced and it looks like it could happen this time around. When The Expendables 4 hits theaters, you are going to see a new leader and that just might be Hulk Hogan, according to sources. There is a good reason that Stallone might not be making the fourth movie and according to Terry Crews, that happens to be because he wants to put more time into the sequel to the successful Creed. Apparently, Stallone is eye-balling an Oscar and The Expendables is not a movie that is going to do it for him.

The Expendables 4

Stallone has a chance for an Oscar for his part in Creed, but if he does not make it up on stage, the concentration is going to move over to the sequel leaving little time for The Expendables 4. Critics have been bashing The Expendables series for years saying there are too many cast members and especially ones that are well known. The story suffered as a result, according to reviews, but there is a reason that the movies are still being made. Movie goers love the stars, the action and the unrealistic story line that goes a long with all of it.
