The Blacklist Season 2 Coming Back February 1 with Two-Part Major Episode!

After the Super Bowl is over, “The Blacklist” is scheduled to come back to the screen on February 1, presenting its fans with an epic two-part episode which will reveal an even more intricate and interesting story than anything ever done on the show previously, according to its producers. Fans have been very excited about the news, and there has understandably been a lot of hype regarding the continuation of the season – and now, series creator Jon Bokenkamp has taken some time to give a few hints about what people should expect.

According to his revelation, the new two-part episode is going to be much more dramatic and cinematic than the show’s previous installments, and it’s going to present a much more complex story the likes of which fans haven’t seen on the show before. It seems that the complexity of the story was the very reason for the decision to split the episode in two parts like that, as the plot was simply too complex to comfortably present in just one single episode.

The first part of the large episode will be set in a “black” prison, called The Factory, which is being used for interrogation purposes and is located out into the sea. The Fulcrum will be mentioned in the new episode as well, but it seems that the writers aren’t ready to make any major revelations in this regard just yet. However, there will reportedly be lots of clues about the story’s future development, and Red will be trying to figure out what Fitch was trying to give him a heads-up for.

Luther Braxton will reportedly kidnap Red in the new episode – or at least that’s the most prominent speculation about the new character so far. The villain will be played by Ron Perlman, and he’ll be presented as a world-famous thief known for his complex schemes which he always manages to pull off against all odds. It’s been implied that Perlman’s character will have some disagreement with Red, although it’s not clear what this will be about yet. Judging by the current previews though, it’s likely that their conflict will be quite serious.

The Blacklist Season 2

If the first half of the show’s current season was interesting by most fans’ accounts, then the remaining episodes will very likely leave people with their jaws dropped, if even half of the reports about the rest of the show are true. It seems that the producers of “The Blacklist” understand exactly what draws their fans to the show in such large numbers, and are putting a lot of effort into making sure that the rest of season 2 will contain those exact elements in even greater numbers.
