But in any case, fans are not going to see this happening for at least some time, as this particular episode is not coming until December. This means that we could see a few more episodes where Sheldon and Amy are still not dating, and things could even get more dramatic before their reunion.
On the other hand, it’s not even guaranteed that we are going to see that reunion just yet – it’s entirely possible that they might just decide to have sex and move on as friends for the time being. Which would certainly add to the strain that the community is already feeling, but it could open up the potential for some interesting developments later on.
For now, let’s just see what the writers are planning to do in the next episodes, and of course fans shouldn’t forget that Sheldon and Amy are not the only two characters on the show, and they should keep their eyes open for any potentially interesting developments with others.
Because now would be a good time for the writers to throw in a major surprise for their fans and do something that nobody expects with another character (or couple of characters). Let’s just hope that if they are indeed planning that, it will not be in any bad way like they did with Sheldon and Amy.
