The tension in the community of “The Big Bang Theory” fans remains as people are still wondering about the future of two of the show’s most important characters, Sheldon and Amy. After the couple broke up in a very dramatic fashion, fans of the show have been questioning what the producers are planning for them and if they’ll ever get back together at all. We don’t know what could be in store for them specifically, but as long as they get back together nicely at the end of that journey and we see them reunited and happy, this is all that matters and it will be enough for the show’s fans.
On the topic of sex being introduced in the couple’s relationship, this reportedly came from Steve Molaro, executive producer – he said that the crew behind the show finally felt it was the right time to take the relationship of Sheldon and Amy to the next level and show them consummating it, so this not only implies that they are indeed getting back together, but we might also see their relationship flourishing into something even more special and unique.
It’s certainly been one of the cuter love stories on TV lately, and fans of the show were very happy about the way things were moving between the two of them before they split up. And after that, there was obviously a lot of disappointment in the community over that split and some fans even claimed that the show was made worse for them now that Sheldon and Amy had split up.
But their relationship was indeed a complex one and not a very typical romantic story, which should have been obvious from the beginning given the natures of both characters. Because of this, it was pretty much guaranteed that the writers would put them through some sort of test like this at some point in order to be able to advance their relationship even further and truly bring it to the next level afterwards, which is probably what they are intending right now.
