Unlike Bandai Namco’s pronouncement last year that after “Tekken 7” comes out in the arcades, a console version of the game shall come out also exclusively for PlayStation 4, the latest statement from the Japanese game developer indicates that after “Tekken 7: Fated Retribution” comes out in the arcade in July, the console version shall also come out in the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One. In other words, it shall no longer be exclusive to one gaming console.
“Tekken 7: Fated Retribution” shall be offering new content including new characters and costumes which players can use in the game. The game shall also feature one-on-one style matches just like in the arcades.
There are also reports that the game shall be split into two modes – the Rage Art and the Power Crush. In the Rage Art mode, gamers will be able to do damage on their opponent by completing several unblockable moves which could bring up to 30% damage. The Power Crush mode, on the other hand, will allow players to continue attacking their opponent even though the gamers already started bringing damage on them.
The attack would be very crucial in a situation where the player’s opponent is already close to defeat as it would ensure damage and bring the player into victory.
Some of the “Tekken 7: Fated Retribution” fighters are also based on “Tekken 7” and the official list includes Claudio, Katarina, Lucky Chloe, Shaheen, Josie, Gigas, Kazumi, Kazuya, Heihachi, Lars, Asuka, Lili, Alisa, Xiaoyu, Feng Wei, Paul, Marshall Law, Steve Fox, Leo, Hwoarang, King, Dragunov, Bryan, Jin, Devil Jin, Yoshimitsu, and Jack-7.
