Arden Cho, who plays the kitsune Kira, announced that she’s leaving the show a few months before production for Season 6 started. Kira was last seen going with the Skinwalkers so she can figure out how to handle her powers.
Fans hope that she will at least come back to give a proper closure to her character as well as to Kira’s relationship with Scott.
A first look at the final season was also previewed at ComicCon where the Ghost Riders were revealed to be erasing people’s existence.
Stiles appears to be the next victim of the new big bad and Scott and the whole pack will do whatever it takes to save him from being forgotten.
The clip featured Ian Bohen’s Peter Hale who’s set to return next season. His relationship with his daughter, Shelley Hennig’s Malia, will reportedly be explored in Season 6.
Fans are now clamoring for the return of other characters for the final season such as Crystal Reed’s Allison, Tyler Heochlin’s Derek Hale, and Daniel Sharman’s Isaac Lahey.
Reed left the show after the third season with her character being killed by an Oni. Sharman also left the series with Isaac moving to France to start a new life. Heochlin left the show after Season 4 but stated that he’s open to coming back when Derek is needed in the storyline.
