According to iDigital Times, it may be hard to tell exactly how the fighter has been changed because many have actually been left the same. However, to keep track of minute adjustments, Smashboards has been keeping track of every little tweak.
Captain Falcon, for instance, has gone from 14% to 13%. Although he is one of the newest fighting characters in the game, it is actually Lucas from “Mother 3” who received the most changes brought about by patch 1.1.0. The sweet and sour spots of certain attacks have been altered, the hitbox size and the damage now given, as well as changes to the character’s grab.
The two new other additions – Roy from “Fire Emblem” and Ryu from “Streetfighter” remained unchanged.
Classic “Super Smash Bros 4” characters like Lucina & Marth, Robin, Palutena and Wii Fit Trainer all received changes in some way, making them fare better in the fighting contest. There are also alterations made on Diddy Kong.
Nintendo obviously wanted to even the playing field because ZeRO made it look so easy when he took the Evo crown earlier this year.
There is a total of 55 characters in the fighting roster of “Super Smash Bros 4,” four of them were added via DLC expansions including Mewtwo from “Pokemon,” Lucas, Roy, and Ryu.
As long as the new character isn’t Solid Snake, I’ll be happy. Snake doesn’t deserve to be in Smash.
I agree. It should be Naked Snake, or Liquid Snake, or Solidus Snake, or Big Boss. The only logical replacements for Solid Snake.
There are certain Nintendo series that seriously need more representation in Smash Bros. For example, F-Zero has only had one fighter in Smash Bros since the first game. They should add Jody Summer, Samurai Goroh, and Black Shadow (all of these would make good F-Zero additions). Taking off characters like Wolf, Pichu, Squirtle, Ivysaur, Snake, Young Link and the Ice Climbers AFTER having them in previous games is a very poor decision and only does damage to the Smash roster. I would love it if they had an “all-cut veteran dlc”. Even if it was overprice I would still buy it.
We really don’t need any more Mario or Pokemon characters tbh, but if they add any more it should be Daisy, Geno and Paper Mario (or really ANY Paper Mario character). For Pokémon, Meowth, Sceptile, Cubone, Gengar, and Hawlucha are characters I would enjoy seeing.
I am also surprised that they didn’t add any more Zelda characters. Impa would be a great addition, but also Darunia and Vaati. Skull Kid would be great if they made ANOTHER smash game.
The Wario, Yoshi and DK series need some more representation as well. Waluigi, Captain Syrup, Orbulon, Birdo, Pak E. Derm, Dixie Kong, Funky Kong and of course KING K. ROOL would be perfect for Smash (Pak E. Derm would be a great troll character and who doesn’t remember him from Yoshi’s Story?).
Others I would like to see are Poo, Jeff, Paula, Sukapon, Dig Dug, Bomberman, Banjo & Kazooie, Simon Belmont, Leon Powalski, Krystal, Rick (from Kirby), Magolor, Midna, Isaac, Chibi-Robo, Ashley Robbins (from Another Code), Kyle Hyde, Mike Jones, Shovel Knight, Glover, Starfy, Waterwraith, and Izana.
I want to see Rayman, Sora, Tails, Isaac, Hamtaro, Starly, Cranky Kong, Lanky Kong, Young Link, Pichu, and Wolf.

I would like to see Goemon from Ganbare Goemon series or even Gex
What I would for the upcoming characters would be characters from Dragon Ball Z,One Peace,Naruto,Marvel,DC,and Star Wars. I think all of y’all will agree that these characters could and would be in the best recommended.

This is why Sakurai and others don’t like the Smash community. They want every obscure character only they like. No creativity.
