Mike and Rachel, played by Meghan Markle, also decided to put on hold their wedding plans and will happen upon the release of Mike from prison after two years.
Contrary to speculations that there would be a time jump between the Season 5 finale and the upcoming Season 6, Korsh said that there is no time jump that will happen because he and the writers plan to resume with an episode during the first night of Mike in prison.
The showrunner said that it would be a good plotline especially with the backdrop that it will focus on Mike and the firm and about what they will do and how to adapt their lives to their new situation.
Harvey is no longer part of the firm as he already resigned from Pearson Specter Litt a few episodes before the Season 5 finale. Harvey made a deal during the first half of Season 5 with Charles Forstman, played by Eric Roberts, to leave his post from the firm to keep it safe from the claws of Daniel Hardman, played by David Costabile. So it would really be interesting to find out how this deal will work out come Season 6 of “Suits.”
