There is about half a year left to go before the film hits the screen, so a lot may happen in the meantime and we could start hearing some even more interesting rumors about its plot until then.
For now, fans of “Star Trek” are just hopeful that this installment in the franchise will be successful enough to warrant future sequels, as a proper revival of the brand name could work out very well for its fans and for the film industry as a whole.
There is definitely a lot to be explored in “Star Trek” that was not said previously, and the producers of the film could even decide to add more characters and expand the story even more in all kinds of different directions. It wouldn’t be too far-fetched to imagine a new major character entering the scene and staying around for a while, especially if it’s someone that can be tied to past events in the franchise that fans could remember.
With all that in mind, “Star Trek Beyond” could easily be one of the more successful films that have hit the screen recently, and we expect that we’ll be hearing about it a lot after it arrives on July 22. Hopefully the changes that the producers will introduce in the storyline will not be taken in a bad way by fans of the original show, and we’re going to see a proper revival of the series. If that does happen, we might see a lot of interesting action on the screen in the next years.
