The latest information about the upcoming “Spider-Man” movie reboot comes from the newest Peter Parker himself, Tom Holland. The 19-year-old actor recently spoke to Hey U Guys about the iconic role that’s about to change his life.

Holland says that the previous “Spider-Man” films were his essential resources to base his performance from, but he’s quite excited to give his unique spin to the beloved character.

When asked if the previous actors who portrayed the web-slinger had an impact on him, the British actor said that it’s impossible not to.

Tom adds that Tobey Maguire’s and Andrew Garfield’s take on the superhero were such real and great performances that he will try his best to continue and recreate it for the fans.

Holland points out that while he takes a lot of inspiration from Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, the most important thing for him is to make a new and exciting film while reliving the character.

Maguire portrayed Peter Parker and his alter-ego in Sam Raimi’s “Spider-Man” film trilogy which ran from 2002 to 2007.

Garfield was chosen as the next actor to play the iconic superhero in “The Amazing Spider-Man” released in 2012, and its sequel, “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” released in 2014.

The latest “Spider-Man” movie will not come out until July 2017, but Holland will be making his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut as the newest Spider-Man in the upcoming film “Captain America: Civil War,” due to hit theaters in May next year.

Tom went on saying that the accident happened while he was about to film his last scene. He recalled that he was getting into position, but everything suddenly went wrong. However, the crew still did the take and Holland noted that the scene looked great.
