‘Sleepy Hollow’ Season 3 Winds Up Fall Finale with a Huge Cliffhanger as Fate of Abbie Hangs in the Balance!

“Sleepy Hollow” is the modern-day adaptation of the 1820 Halloween short story “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow,” with the headless horseman as a central character.

However, the headless horseman, played by Neil Jackson during the first two seasons of the TV series, is not around for Season 3. In his place is Pandora, the new main villain that poses an even bigger threat to the partnership of Ichabod and Abbie.

In addition to Pandora, Season 3 of “Sleepy Hollow” has also ushered other villains that the duo contended with during the show’s first half  and will likely battle in episodes on the second half. In fact, the first villain that Ichabod and Abbie dealt with at the start of Season 3 was the notorious serial killer Jack the Ripper, while the second villain was known as Abyzou.

Apparently, Abyzou was a tooth fairy that is not anything like the ones people tell their children about. The third villain that they battled with is a Draugar, a battalion of undead British soldiers who returned to Sleepy Hollow under the order of a General Howe.

Season 3 is proving to be full of excitement as Ichabod and Abbie work together on certain cases involving unorthodox criminals and supernatural forces.

  1. She’s not dead, maybe in Limbo again. Dare she sees Abraham (Horseman) and Katrina. LOL
They have at least 4 more seasons to go according to the witness prophecy, so I would love to see what twist the writers have up their sleeves.
