Sister Wives Season 7 Premiere to Debunk All Rumors that Polygamous Brown Family is Falling Apart!

Contrary to rumors that the polygamous Brown family is falling apart even before the Season 7 premiere of their family reality TV series “Sister Wives” is aired on TLC on May 8, all is well with the clan, or so that’s how patriarch Kody Brown seems to make it appear.

There have been reports recently that Kody Brown and his first wife Meri Barber have been at odds since last year which is actually the reason why Meri got entangled in a catfishing scandal.

Kody felt bad about the whole thing because it was tantamount to Meri cheating on him. But during an interview, Meri admitted that there was no physical contact between her and the perpetrator of the catfishing since she is actually a woman pretending to be a man.

There were also reports saying that Kody can no longer stand Meri while he only treats his second wife Janelle as a close friend. Christine, his third wife, seems to have a problem with him as well.

Accordingly, each of the three spiritual wives in the polygamous marriage already has their one foot out of the door and are ready to leave their spiritual marriage for good.

Disqualifying the rumors

Instead of responding directly to the rumors, Kodi and Meri decided instead to celebrate their 26th anniversary recently to disqualify all the rumors that their family is falling apart.

Meri greeted her husband with a tweet on April 21 and expressed how much they have gone through together, including memories and experiences. She ended her tweet with a hashtag of #26Years, details the Ecumenical News.

The following day, Meri posted a photo again on Twitter showing the whole Brown family looking very happy. She captioned her image post by saying that the Brown family was on a road trip.

It was actually Kendra Pollard-Parra, a friend of Robyn Sullivan, the fourth and legal wife of Kody, who revealed in a recent interview, that the happiness that the Brown family are showing on the TV series is fake and is being done for the sake of the show.

Kendra made the disclosure after she got upset when Kody allegedly attempted to propose to her and make her his fifth wife right in front of her friend Robyn. It is not clear if this controversial revelation would be aired during the two-hour Season 7 premiere of “Sister Wives.”

A marriage in the family

The Season 7 premiere of “Sister Wives” shall also feature a big announcement by Maddie, Janelle’s eldest daughter, to the family.

It can be recalled that during the Season 6 finale, Maddie’s boyfriend Caleb nervously asked Kody’s permission to marry his daughter, which is a tradition that the Brown patriarch has followed before asking the big question to all his four wives, details the International Business Times.

The official trailer for Season 7 of “Sister Wives” released last month also quashed previous rumors that the show will no longer have the seventh season because it seems headed for cancellation.

The cancellation rumors started swirling when the three spiritual wives of patriarch Kody expressed their intentions to leave him for good.

There were even reports then saying that each of the three spiritual wives are ready to bolt the polygamist set-up since Kody is spending more of his time with his fourth wife Robyn.

Meri was said to have decided to leave Kody for good after she was caught catfishing late last year and it turned out that the ploy was an attempt of a woman to pry as much information from the polygamist family as possible.

Sister Wives Season 6

There was also Janelle who seems to be enjoying her work already as a realtor that she is already ready to leave Kody and the polygamous family.

However, while the Brown family will still be complete in Season 7, the trailer showed that they are in for a rough road ahead as they continue to face the challenges of their tricky polygamous marriage.

The teaser showed the Brown family working together and learning to cope with Meri’s catfishing scandal as it continues to unfold and shed some light on how things really have been for all of them.

One comment

  1. Meri is closing in on 50yrs. She was not a victim, she actively engaged in looking for someone to run off with. Mariah should be showing her mother some support, Meri gave Mariah everything she could in life and she was pampered to no end, unlike the other wive’s children who had to make do. Meri even made Mariah a star, by way of the show. Now Mariah looks down on Meri and has contempt for her because Meri is only human. That’s an ugly thing to do to a loving mother. Meri deserves a better daughter. Mariah Brown has failed as a daughter.
