Not that they’ve been having any issues whatsoever in this regard anyway, as “Sherlock” quickly managed to climb to high spots in the charts shortly after it arrived. It was a fresh idea that grabbed some viewers very quickly, and it also has a great potential for future improvements.
The producers of the show have been somewhat careful with experimenting with different ideas for extending the show so far, and we’ve seen some great takes on themes from the original “Sherlock”. There is a lot more material to cover too, so we have no doubt that they are planning something great for season 4.
The only thing that fans seem a bit divided over right now is the potential return of Moriarty, the arch nemesis of Sherlock. This idea has been brought up a few times and it’s definitely a possibility, but not all fans seem so excited about it, given the character’s past.
According to some, it would make more sense for the producers to move forward and explore new, more interesting themes instead of sticking to the same old characters that we’ve seen before. As we said above, there is a lot of potential in “Sherlock” for all sorts of new ideas to be brought to the table, and hopefully we’re going to see those ideas realized properly.
