With the Time Masters removed from power, it will be the responsibility of the Legends to protect the timeline from witnessing abnormality in sequence. With the timeline left open to changes, there are bound to be unusual historical changes that might have a detrimental impact on the world. The role of Dr. Nate Heywood becomes important to the plot in this aspect.
Legends of Tomorrow Season 2 will show him in possession of the power to make changes in the timeline. He has a reputation to uphold, being the grandson of Commander Steel of Justice Society of America. In his path to setting things right, Nate is going to overcome his insecurities and discover the hero within.
With the premiere date set for October 6th, fans have to wait for a while before they can catch the Legends of Tomorrow in action. In the meantime, they can pour over the official photos that have been released by the CW. One of the photos from the set show Albert Einstein (John Rubinstein) and Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell).
The presence of Stephen Amell might indicate a crossover with Arrow. This news hasn’t yet been confirmed by CW.
