For fans of ‘Jelena,’ it could be a sign that Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber are meant to be together as lovers as their fate seemed to be intertwined. But for some critics, they simply refer to it as nothing but stage accidents.
Last week, Justin Bieber accidentally fell off the stage during a concert in his home country of Canada.
As if by some kind of twist of fate, while performing in Tulsa, Oklahoma as part of her “Revival World Tour” on June 20, the 23-year-old songstress also slipped and tumbled on the stage. She was singing “Kill ‘Em with Kindness” when the accident happened.
But Gomez recovered nicely and was quick to make light of her blunder. She immediately posted on her social media account that it was her first fall on the whole damn tour, bewildered that it happened in Tulsa.
Some of her fans even posted a video of her tumble on Twitter, one of whom even captioned it by saying that Selena Gomez is the only person who can fall in front of thousands of people and still be cute.
The little accident was also witnessed by Aiden, Selena’s godson, but the “Good For You” singer just enjoyed it seeing her adorable godson with his little headphones on during the concert. She even posted cute pictures of the little boy with his mother and father.
Interestingly, while Gomez made light of her slight tumble, Justin Bieber seemed to have been annoyed by his jaw-dropping stage accident, preferring not to talk about it at all.
Looking for a boyfriend
During the Carpool Karaoke with James Corden that aired on June 21, the host asked Selena Gomez if a guy would ever be accepted in Taylor Swift’s Squad, of which the singer is a proud part of.
Selena Gomez told Corden that he can find her a boyfriend and then they can talk about the guy’s membership to the Squad.
Corden followed it up by asking if she was looking for a boyfriend to which Selena replied yes. But she later backtracked on her statement when she added that she does not know really because she likes to have fun, implying that she is better off as single at the moment, reports the Hollywood Take.
Despite rumors linking her to the likes of Niall Horan, Charlie Puth, and Samuel Krost since the Holidays last year, it seems that Selena Gomez is still single and unspoken for.
Keeping her mind off the Biebs
Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber have not been a couple for nearly two years already but it seems that the connection will always be there, regardless whether each one is dating a different person.
It seems to be the case with the 23-year-old songstress when she said in an interview recently that she likes being on a concert tour because it keeps her mind off Justin Bieber.
Apparently, whenever she is not busy or not working, Selena is keeping tabs to whatever Justin Bieber is doing, indicating that she cares for her former on-again, off-again boyfriend.
It seems that the fan adulation for her during her concert tours is more than enough for her to keep Justin out of her head and not be tempted on checking up on him occasionally, through indirect avenues.
Selena Gomez says her concert tour has been a therapeutic thing for her because she loves not being able to miss Justin and not be bored and text Justin just to while away her free time.
In fact, because of her hectic concert schedule, Selena Gomez did not feel as much of a sting when the “Sorry” singer was recently spotted having a date with hot blonde Nicola Peltz.
