A magazine in the United States recently published an issue with a headline on the front cover implying that Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus are both pregnant by the same man. And while most people were wise enough to ignore the publication, recognizing its scandalous nature, the headline still managed to stir up some controversy, proving that some members of the press are willing to do anything just to draw some attention.
Miley Cyrus doesn’t seem too bothered by the allegations though, as she shared a picture of the magazine’s cover, adding that the man in question was actually Justin Bieber. The post was immediately noticed by thousands of fans who started sharing it all over social media, and it’s pretty clear that it would take something more to make Cyrus feel bothered by such allegations.
We’re not so sure about how Selena Gomez is going to respond though, as she hasn’t said anything ab out the situation yet and it’s possible that she’ll choose to remain quiet in general. Gomez has generally been one to avoid getting herself involved in Internet drama, unless it’s to defend her name, so she might not have anything to contribute to the current situation.
The two stars used to be best friends not long ago, but lately they haven’t been on very good terms, and we’re not quite sure about the exact reason. Cyrus has been taking various jabs at her ex-friend, but Gomez on the other hand hasn’t been eager to respond, leaving the situation alone for the most part.
And while the post made by Miley Cyrus over the pregnancy headline was obviously a joke and has been taken well by most of her fans so far, it’s questionable whether Selena Gomez will see it in the same light. It’s possible that she might see it as Cyrus trying to add drama between the two, but as we said above, so far she hasn’t made any comments on the situation.
Justin Bieber himself hasn’t responded to the post either, though we’re not sure he himself would want to get anywhere near that argument. Bieber’s own career has been taking a strange turn lately as the star has been finding himself surrounded by more and more controversy, and while he doesn’t seem to be trying to be a stranger to drama, he’s probably too occupied with some other events in his life at the moment to make any note of this situation. In any case, it would certainly be interesting to see what he has to say about the post by Selena Gomez, though it likely wouldn’t be anything too spicy.
