According to Fox News, Schwarzenegger felt that the President shouldn’t have passed the executive order without getting the approval from the Justice Department and the Homeland Security.
Lawyers should have validated the order and helped shape the law. Schwarzenegger added that he understands that Trump wants to keep terrorists away from the United States, but should realize that refusing to let people settle in the country isn’t the solution. A better plan had to be formulated.
Schwarzenegger had entered a public argument with Trump in January when the president-elect said that the ratings of Apprentice had suffered ever since he had left the show for his duty in the White House.
Donald Trump called himself a rating machine and said that Schwarzenegger would never be able to match up to him when it comes to drawing in viewers. Schwarzenegger didn’t take the time to punch back. He tweeted back to Trump and said that he hopes the President would work as hard for the American people as he did to get good ratings for his shows.
Schwarzenegger has mirrored the views of millions around him. The banning of immigrants is not a solution at all since it comes at the end of allowing to settle in a country of their choice.
