Samsung Galaxy S7 will be Far More than an Iterative Update from the Galaxy S6

If that is to be true, it would be a major shift in Samsung’s launching strategy since the company normally does not launch its flagship smartphones and tablets at once which is also what Apple is doing.

Samsung has been used to launching its flagship smartphones during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) events held in Barcelona. The last two MWCs were held in the first week of March but the upcoming MWC 2016 is scheduled on February 22 to 25, 2016. That might be too early for Samsung to launch the Galaxy S7 as its predecessor has yet to complete its one-year market cycle by then. So there is the possibility that an early second half launching is possible and no longer at the MWC 2016.

Words also have it that the Samsung Galaxy S7 would feature the curved sides of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, which shares the same design footsteps with its fellow Korean company products, the LG G Flex 2 and the LG G4.

As far as the projected price of the Samsung Galaxy S7 is concerned, it would most likely be slightly costlier than the Samsung Galaxy S6 given the expected modifications and new features that it will exude.
