Samsung Galaxy S7 Latest Update Enables Users to Have Better Control of the Always On Display App!

Among the improved features of the Samsung Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge that have been drawing rave reviews from consumers are the return of the microSD card slot, better and longer battery life, beautiful displays, and superb camera technology.

The new batteries of Samsung Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge have increased the battery by approximately 18% and 40% respectively.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 has also been subjected to several tests. The first of the test was the WiFi browsing test.

The various Samsung Galaxy S7 models used in the test were charged and eventually a custom WiFi browsing test tool until the battery drained to zero.

The Galaxy S7 powered by the Exynos 7870 processor proves to be slightly better, recording an average screen time of six hours and 48 minutes which is 18 minutes longer than the battery life of the Snapdragon processor which posted a battery life of six hours and 30 minutes.

The second test is the video playback test while the third and final test involve the longevity of each handset, as an indicator of the maximum standby life.

Based on the test results, the Galaxy S7 indeed has vastly improved battery life compared to the Galaxy Note 5, with both versions of the Galaxy S7 outscoring the Samsung phablet in two out of three tests.
