For starters, Samsung has managed to fix the issue where a pop-up message saying the Contacts app has stopped working appears. The update also repairs ‘a no service’ condition which users experience when they are travelling to other countries particularly in Puerto Rico.
The Korean handset manufacturer also confirmed that the latest update has made some improvements regarding auto-correction and predictive text in the phone’s native keypad.
Also, the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge from Verizon now supports Chinese Mandarin phonetic symbols and Cangjie as Input Languages once users download the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update.
Home screen enhancements are also included in the Lollipop update as well as an added option to turn the wallpaper motion effect on or off. A Live Wallpaper option for lock screen is also an added feature in the update.
Camera-wise, Samsung has added a feature that allows the exposure value to be adjusted from within the camera viewfinder which means that users won’t be having a hard time anymore as they can now adjust the exposure level by just moving the slider up or down.
Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge users should keep in mind though that the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update is made over-the-air or OTA in stages so it might take a little while before it reaches all Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge devices.
