And as for Samsung, the company still enjoys a solid position on the market, but if they don’t put a little more effort into their immediate next releases, they could find themselves in some trouble eventually. Apple have been pulling ahead quite fast and successfully, and while people are still paying a lot of attention to Samsung, there has been a shift in the market.
Android has been losing ground in some markets in general, as iOS is climbing up – even Windows Phone has been enjoying some extra popularity lately. So Samsung are getting closer and closer to finding themselves pressed against the wall by several competitors at the same time.
The Galaxy Note 5 is a good chance for the company to establish some solid positions on the market though, and we’re likely going to see it talked about quite a lot after it’s officially out. Whether or not those comments will be in a positive tone is a different story, but we have been hearing some relatively good rumors about the device until now.
Samsung are trying to recover from their 2014 losses, and if the Galaxy Note 5 gets good reception on the market, it should work quite well in this regard. In any case, it should draw attention to Samsung, which the company can always benefit from right now, not just for the Note 5 but also for their future releases.
I will buy the Note 5. If I like it. If I don’t like it, I will NOT be getting an Apple phone.
