While she has been with the industry for roughly 12 years, Rihanna has already proven that she is a capable singer and her continued rise to the top seems very evident too.
The 29-year-old singer now holds the third spot with 30 Top 10 hits and if she stays longer in the business, she could easily surpass The Beatles and Madonna for the most number of songs in the Top 10 of all time.
Rihanna first reached the Top 10 only in 2005 with her breakout pop song titled “Pon De Replay.” While she has not managed to have all her albums hit the Top 10 chart, she always has at least one of her songs from album making it to the Top 10 list.
In addition to singing and her humanitarian work, Rihanna is also busy with her acting career. In fact, she will be appearing in an upcoming psycho-thriller TV series “Bates Motel” to air on A&E.
She will play the role as Marion Crane in the series, who is the key character who is a victim in the famous shower scene in the classic 1960’s thriller movie “Psycho.”
A new teaser of the TV series has featured Rihanna having a love scene as the story about her began to unveil. The show will premiere in the fall so fans will have to wait longer to see Rihanna on the small screen.
