‘Resident Evil: The Final Chapter’ to Give Milla Jovovich her Sixth and Final Take as Zombie-Killing Alice

“Resident Evil: Extinction” is the third sequel of the movie series, released in 2007. The plot follows the development of Alice’s clones by the Umbrella Corporation, which has the goal of finding the right Alice. Alice finds Claire Redfield’s convoy, and together they set off to find supplies. The group is attacked by new Umbrella Corporation zombies. Here, Alice confronts Isaac and defeats him, additionally announcing a bigger battle against Umbrella Corporation.

“Resident Evil: Afterlife” is the fourth sequel of the series. It was released in 2010 and mainly set in Japan. It was filmed with a 3D Fusion Camera System, the same technology used for the making of the movie “Avatar.”Following the events of “Extinction,” the announced battle sets forth as Alice attacks the Umbrella Corporation headquarters set in Tokyo. Amid the battle, Alice is left without her superhuman abilities because of a serum injection. As the film reaches its ending, Alice sends out a message summoning the survivors in order to create a new community.

“Resident Evil: Retribution” is the fifth and latest of the “Resident Evil” series. It was released on September 14, 2012. In the movie, Alice is imprisoned by the Umbrella Corporation and after she manages to escape, she joins her team once more. The storyline now involves clones of all the leading characters. The Red Queen’s orders now include killing Alice. She is once again, injected with the T-Virus, which made her regain her superpowers with a mission to save the rest of mankind.

“Resident Evil: The Final Chapter” will be filmed in 3D. In addition to Jovovich reprising her role as Alice,  there will be other characters reprising their roles from the previous sequels, including Bing Bing Li returning as Ada.
