‘Resident Evil 7’ Xbox One Gamers to Get ‘Survival Pack: Recovery Set’ if they Pre-Order the Game Before its January 2017 Release Date!

There are also reports stating the Capcom has cut back on character cameos in “Resident Evil 7: Biohazard” after Matt Mercer, the voice actor for Leon Kennedy, revealed that he has not been asked to reprise his voice acting role in “Resident Evil 7: Biohazard.”

Mercer said that he has yet to be asked to return for the highly-anticipated sequel of the video game. He assumed that Capcom may be scaling back the use of usual characters in the video game franchise.

He voiced Leon Kennedy in “Resident Evil 6” and has been wondering why the character would no longer be part of “Resident Evil 7: Biohazard.”

He explained that Capcom may have decided against throwing in all the classic cameos in the latest installment of the video game. Mercer, however, believes that Capcom has a good reason for that and he thinks that the company wanted “Resident Evil 7: Biohazard” to act as very much as its own beast.

Still, he is hopeful that he will get a phone call from Capcom soon. He said that he feels a strong appreciation for the character overall. He added that being able to step into the shoes of Leon Kennedy, even just his voice, is already a huge honor for him.
