The 2017 Jaguar F-Pace is now officially out on the market and on the roads today and motoring enthusiasts and critics are one in saying that it is the best-looking SUV there is today, bar none.
Wes Reynal, an editor of Autoweek, describes the F-Pace as graceful where it needs to be and edgy in a few places which make it really perfect.
He says that it is obvious just by looking at it that the F-Pace is a Jaguar because it shows traces of the luxury car family. Its interiors look more like a lot of the XE too. The SUV is also comfortable and the body stays flat in corners.
Reynal said that he would take the 2017 Jaguar F-Pace all day long over a BMW X5. He also cited that the vehicle has perked up the Jaguar sales by up to almost 60% even though the SUV just made it to the market in May this year.
Andrew Stoy, the digital editor of Autoweek, also echoes the observations of Reynal on the F-Pace, citing that the SUV wants for nothing in power and handling.
Stoy said that for its price of over $60,000, the vehicle is reasonable considering its interior space and amenities and with some options thrown into it.
Autoweek road test editor Jake Lingeman says that he would take the Jaguar F-Pace over the X5, the GLE, and the Q5, citing that the SUV has a very slick profile. He added that the only SUV that can beat the looks of the F-Pace is the Porsche Cayenne.
Lingeman also noted that the 380-horsepower V6 engine pushes the lightweight SUV with gusto which is attributable to its aluminum-intensive body that also results in speed and agility.
The road test editor said that with the 2017 Jaguar F-Pace, the British luxury carmaker has put itself on a serious roll and he does not see the car manufacturer stopping anytime soon.
A bold-looking SUV
With the advent of the bold-looking 2017 Jaguar F-Pace, the British carmaker has finally joined the ranks of fellow players including Porsche, Maserati, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz in the highly competitive SUV market.
Jaguar may have taken its time in finally breaking ground in the luxury SUV market but the company sure knows how to make an entrance.
Critics and motoring enthusiasts are saying that the F-Pace is simply breathtaking at first glance. It looks very striking, athletic, as well as smooth. Its signature front grille and badging are unmistakably Jaguar, reports Drive of Australia.
The 2017 Jaguar F-Pace also features in its interior the new infotainment system, officially known as InControl Touch Pro. It has been demonstrated more than a year ago so it’s been a long-time coming but well worth the wait.
The 10.2-inch capacitive touchscreen is high resolution and operates much like a smartphone, with pinch and zoom using the user’s fingers. It has a lot of functionality but it is very user-friendly. The main menu is split into four main components – phone, navigation, audio, and climate – so navigation is really straightforward.
A well-priced SUV
The majority of critics are also saying that the F-Pace is well-priced across its numerous variants vis-à-vis the level of comfort, convenience, and efficiency that the SUV exudes.
In terms of safety, power, and performance, the 2017 Jaguar F-Pace got everything one needs and everything one would want, with regards to technology, connectivity, and entertainment.
The interior of the 2017 Jaguar F-Pace also emphasizes practicality over stylistic flourishes like the F-Type’s power-rising vents.
The cabin room looks handsome, roomy, and well-made. Everything that the passenger touches inside the vehicle already reminds them that they are indeed on a Jaguar vehicle.
