Earlier this year, in August, “Mission Impossible 5” was shooting some scenes in Vienna, during which Rebecca Ferguson was spotted in a yellow evening dress. From what fans were able to see at the shooting, the scene seemed to have Ferguson and Tom Cruise escaping together. And now, Ferguson was spotted wearing the same dress in a completely different location – this time, in London.
The film’s shooting continues in Great Britain, and fans have already noticed Rebecca Ferguson with the exact same clothes as the Vienna scene. This could generally indicate continuity between the two scenes, although it’s also possible that the dress has a special meaning in the plot, and Ferguson’s character is wearing it for a particular reason. It’s far more likely that the escape from Vienna will either be followed or preceded by the scene shot in London, and fans have already been spending a lot of time on forums trying to guess how this could tie in with everything that’s generally known about the upcoming film so far.
And while London’s residents have been excited to have the next “Mission Impossible” shooting right in their streets, some may be a bit concerned about the most recent news from the set. It seems that Tom Cruise has yet another daring stunt planned for the film, one that will be shot during the crew’s stay in London – and this one will apparently require filming at Piccadilly Circus, right during rush hour. Although, those who find the idea of traffic issues alarming shouldn’t worry – Tom Cruise will apparently be walking among the crowd, with just a couple of cameramen following him.
The scene apparently revolves around a chase, and will have Cruise frantically pushing through people as he’s trying to get away. While some may certainly enjoy the idea of getting to touch Tom Cruise, even unintentionally, others should watch out if they don’t want to get a sudden shove in the back from the actor. Obviously, the crew will prepare things to have the situation under control, but people should still keep the filming in mind.
There’s still more than one year before the film is finished, and it’s not unlikely that fans will get to hear more news about Tom Cruise performing yet another interesting stunt in an unusual way. These events have been part of the marketing for the film in general, and it’s not an unusual strategy for the studio behind “Mission Impossible 5”. So far, fans have heard plenty of good things about Tom Cruise’s new movie, but it remains to be seen if it will actually live up to the hype.
