With so much talk about terrorism and the attacks that follow it all around the world, there is little doubt that a television show based on one of the worst in recent history was going to be popular. Quantico Season 1 has started back in September of last year and will be starting up again soon following a break over the holidays. ABC picked up the show last year and ordered more episodes a month later in October and one month later in November, bringing the first season to an end after the twenty-second episode.
Most television shows that are on today bring about thirteen episodes, so the fact that ABC feels comfortable enough with ordering more on two separate occasions tells you a lot about how the show is going to be perceived by the public. Towards the end of the first season, the main character is being suspected of a major terrorist attack.
Flashbacks throughout the season will keep you up to date on how the story got to where you are seeing it today and follows the FBI recruits that are stationed in Quantico. Each of the new agents have a reason for joining and you learn that part as the season unfolds in front of you. It just appears that for at least one of the new recruits has plans for a major terrorist attack, which happens to be on September eleventh back in 2001.
There are very few people in this world that will not remember that day and how it changed the United States forever. In the mean time, there is still a search for the person, or persons, responsible for the bombings in New York. The second part of the season is expected to start on March sixth of this year. If you are currently watching the show, then you know there is one character that has an alter ego. That character is Caleb Haas and the alter ego is known as Mark Raymond. Leaving the fans and other curious watches at the edge of their seats, it was revealed that Haas was renting the largest locker at a bank.
That locker just happens to be where the second bomb went off in the finale of the first part of season one. Leaving questions about his role in the bombings, fans take to the internet to see if there will be anything revealed by the end of the first season. Other fan sites understand that he could be the mastermind behind the bombing, but also say that Quantico Season 1 is full of misdirection twists that might be hard to keep up with. Another dramatic story line that will grow in the second half of the season includes Ryan’s ex-wife.
