‘Pretty Little Liars’ Season 6 Winter Trailer Gives a Clearer Picture Where the Four Liars Would Be Five Years Hence!

ABC Family has just released the newest trailer for “Pretty Little Liars” Season 6B and it shows the girls all coming back to Rosewood five ‘A-free’ years later. But it looks like the girls’ return will mark the start of another A-game for them.

The latest 30-second trailer for Season 6B shows Lucy Hale’s Aria, Troian Bellisario’s Spencer, Ashley Benson’s Hanna, and Shay Mitchell’s Emily hugging each other after they’ve been away from each other for five years. The clip teases that the Liars might have left Rosewood, but it sure didn’t leave them.

It then moves to Charlotte a.k.a. A in a cell asking Alison if the girls are still upset with her after all that she’s done.

Spencer and Toby seemed to have reunited, at least for some sleuthing purposes as they unearth a mystery in an abandoned building while Aria is shown stepping forward in a police line-up.

At one point in the trailer, Emily is seen laying on the bed wearing a hospital gown, screaming while someone in hospital gloves holds her arms down. Janel Parish’ Mona also makes an appearance in the trailer. Mona asks Spencer if she still has nightmares because apparently, they never go away.

The trailer also brings about puzzling scenes such as Toby punching Caleb and Ezra yelling at Hanna, Spencer, and Emily to get out.

Two months after the summer finale, the trailer was enough to excite fans once again to watch the series. After what the show has been building up for almost six years – the A reveal – was met with mixed reactions, it called for the show to step up.

Since the summer finale of Season 6A and with A a.k.a. Charles, who now goes by Charlotte, revealed to be actually Vanessa Drake’s CeCe, fans were treated to the first four minutes of the upcoming episode. With this, the show was definitely gearing up for many changes.

The second half of the “Pretty Little Liars” doesn’t return until January 12 and very few information has been released about characters and where will their lives be when the show returns.

One thing’s for sure is that the girls will not be with their high school loves anymore. Hanna is apparently engaged and it’s not with Tyler Blackburn’s Caleb while Alison, played by Sasha Pieterse, chose to stay behind Rosewood.

When the series returns, Alison is teaching at Rosewood, is married and goes by Mrs. Rollins. Aria, Spencer, Hanna, and Emily are living in different cities around the country and return to Rosewood as per Ali’s request ahead of Charlotte’s court hearing, Melty reports.

The girls have been asked to speak at the hearing and Alison seems to plan on pleading with them to be sympathetic towards her sister. The four ladies will also be heading back to Rosewood with a baggage of their own.

Normally ABC Family releases a Halloween episode in line with the nature of the show, but many fans were unpleasantly surprised when the network failed to air a “Pretty Little Liars” special. Speculations say that there would be no new content until January, but a special episode is on its way.

The Inquisitor reports that “Pretty Little Liars” will air a special episode on November 24 titled “Flash-Forward.” The upcoming episode will feature behind-the-scene footage of the second part of “Pretty Little Liars” Season 6 as well as give the audience more information where the girls are now after five years.

International Business Times suggests that since the special episode falls on Thanksgiving week, the episode will also show where the girls’ parents have been up to for the last five years.

Showrunner Marlene King has confirmed that the new mystery will unfold in the January premiere. But of course, old and unresolved mysteries need to be addressed. Topping that list is the answer on who is Jessica DiLaurentis’ killer.
