Pet Cat Scratches Taylor Swift’s Legs Insured for $40 Million

Taylor Swift’s love for cats may have seen a major downside following reports that her pet cat named Meredith made a ghastly and bloody scratch on one of her legs that is supposedly insured for $40 million.

No less than the “Blank Space” singer made the disclosure through her Facebook and Instagram social media accounts.

On March 13, Taylor Swift posted a photo of the side of her left leg almost near the knee with a ghastly and still bloody scratch. Just a couple of inches from the main scratch is a trace of a similar diagonal scratch but not as heavy and did not pierce through the singer’s skin.

Taylor Swift captioned the image saying that it was the great work of Meredith, obviously the name of her cat. The “Shake It Off” singer added in the caption that she was just trying to love Meredith but with the major scratch on her left leg, her pet cat already owes her $40 million, validating earlier reports that Taylor Swift had her legs insured for that huge amount of money.

Career-ruiner

AOL describes the ghastly scratch on Taylor Swift’s left leg as a career-ruiner, which has a good leg to stand on since aside from her voice and comely face, the most popular music artist of 2014 also has one of the nicest legs among today’s pop artists.

Before the launching of her fifth studio album titled “1989” on October 27, 2014, Taylor Swift barely shows her legs on most of her music videos since most of her songs were either country music or slow ballads.

Her fifth album signalled her transition to pop, and with it come a more liberated 25-year-old artist who started showing some skins in her music videos, but still in a wholesome way.

In particular, Taylor Swift showed a lot of her legs on her “Shake It Off” dance track. That also showed that the singer’s other major physical asset is her shapely long legs. It was no wonder that she had it insured for $40 million as reported by the National Enquirer recently.

Still happy

Despite the major downer, Taylor Swift appears to have taken the incident lightly. It was obvious from the manner by which she captioned her post. If it is true that her legs were insured, it is so easy to have the scratch fixed in no time at all, given today’s modern medical technologies.

And to further show that she has gotten over the cat-scratching incident, Taylor Swift also posted a video clip of herself singing “This Kiss” by Faith Hill along with the HAIM sisters in a moving car.

Apparently, the video clip was for the 29th birthday of HAIM sister Este on March 13. Taylor Swift captioned the video clip by greeting Este and thanking her as well as Alana and Danielle for taking her in into their wolf pack which has made her life a lot different.
