‘Penny Dreadful’ Season 4 Being Pushed by Fans Amid Cancellation; Pitches Revival of the Show to CBS and Netflix!

“Penny Dreadful” Season 3 lacked the overt signs of a vampire menace roaming the streets, even though the vampires already returned. Instead of the occasional cannibalistic dismemberment, Season 3 remained free of the macabre murders because the Night Creatures were apparently feeding on rats, bats, and frogs.

The introduction of new characters toward the end of “Penny Dreadful” Season 3, along with some unanswered questions, make it really difficult to believe that the finale was planned way ahead of time.

While Logan may be telling the truth when he said that the death of Vanessa is a natural end to the series, but the excess of characters and constant plot twists have made critics think that the show was dreadfully overburdened.

In fact, if one is to look closely, the ominous sign became obvious when both episodes 8 and 9 was scheduled as a two-part season finale on June 19. It was like the network wanting to get rid of “Penny Dreadful” off the air that it did away with one more week of airing.

The Season 3 finale of “Penny Dreadful” did not leave any cliffhanger, only the death of Vanessa Ives that ultimately left the viewers in a lurch.
