‘Outlander’ Season 2 Answers Burning Questions; Opens Up Many More for Season 3

The series creator jests that the Star Chamber scene is the scene he’s proudest of from the entirety of Season 2.

Asked about the upcoming season, Moore admits that they already have scripts for the first few episodes and stories have already been plotted into 10 episodes.

He adds that they are already in pre-production in Scotland and will probably start shooting until late August or early September.

As for the upcoming season, many questions are still up in the air such as what became of Tobias Menzies’ Black Jack Randall? Or will fans see more of Geillis?

The viewers saw him when he was beating the body of his dead brother Alex in an appealing paroxysm of grief.

There’s also Laoghaire, the young serving girl who set her cap at Jamie but was sent packing by Claire. According to the book, she’s got a major role to play in Jamie’s future.

Reports say that the young British soldier who was captured by Jamie and fooled into giving away British position will be an integral character in Season 3. The soldier goes by John William Grey and Gabaldon has written an entire spin-off series of books about him which could indicate that he is important.
