Nokia Lumia 635 Coming To The Sprint Network!

The Sprint Network has one of the only unlimited data plans that is left in the mobile world and they have been releasing top of the line smartphones for the better part of 5 years now. That is going to continue as Sprint has announced that it will be releasing the brand new Nokia Lumia 635, which is a Windows Phone powered smartphone. It will be the first Nokia release on the Sprint network in more than 9 years. Coming up next month, the Nokia Lumia 635 is expected to be for sale online and retailers all over the country.

If you want to pick up the phone before that you can purchase it on the Virgin Mobile and Boost Mobile pre-paid networks for just $100 on the 23rd of December. The price tag for the Nokia Lumia 635 on the Sprint network has not been announced at this time, but if you are picking it up with a new two-year contract, it is likely to be less than $100. Microsoft is happy to have the Nokia Lumia 635 releasing on the Sprint network and said that it is a restart of the partnership between the two companies.

The Nokia Lumia 635 is going to bring some nice features along with that affordable price tag. The phone is considered an entry to mid-range device and would be perfect for the first time smartphone owner. The Nokia Lumia 635 will feature a 4.5-inch touch screen display that has a 854×480 resolution. The back side of the device will feature a standard 5MP camera and will not have a front facing camera for the first time. The Windows Phone powered device will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 process that is clocked at 1.2GHz and is a quad-core build.

Having the quad-core processor is nice and should provide plenty of speed, but it will be partnered up with a small amount of RAM, just 512MB. The internal memory is listed at 8GB and will come with support for expansion through the microSD card slot. One of the highlights of the phone will be the 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi connection support and Bluetooth support with a 1830mAh battery.

Some have mentioned that the first time the phone was announced back in February, it was supposedly coming with an LED flash, as well as a 1.3MP camera on the front side. According to sources that put up reviews the phone will not have either of those features. The phone will be a good starter phone with a great price and should work just great on Sprint’s 4G LTE network.
