Hip Hop music has been around for a long time now and there are very few people that would think that it did not start with African American men. Since the creation of Hip Hop there have been thousands of stars that can rap with the best of them, win Grammy’s like anyone else and have amassed a huge, worldwide following. The Ku Klux Klan has not been as prevalent over the last 10 years as it was many years ago, but with all of the cops killing black people stories in the news, that is about to change.
A one-time Imperial Wizard of the KKK, David Duke, attacked Nicki Minaj and claimed that black people did not invent hip hop or rap. Duke took to the airwaves of his own radio show stating that Nicki Minaj would not be what she is today if it were not for the Jews. Even though the statement is not exactly lacking in hate, the former leader is more of a political commentary on a variety of topics.
Duke claims that Nicki Minaj would not be anything in the record world if it were not for the Jewish recording companies that are promoting here to the end of days. He says that the mass media promotes degenerates like her and that is the problem. Nicki Minaj has been on the rise throughout the last 12 months at least and even has made records on YouTube following the viewership of her music video for song, “Anaconda”. That is when Duke proclaimed that black people are not the ones responsible for the “sick and horrific” hip hop music.
Duke says that the Jewish producer that promotes Nicki Minaj has been going on and on about how 1 in every top 10 songs was one that he controlled. David Duke has been mouthing off about the popularity of hip hop and how it could be possible. As you can imagine, he does not have many black fans and really the majority of those that listen to him are those that followed him as a KKK member.
Nicki Minaj did not let the comments bother her, but did not go by without saying something. Minaj said, that she has been reading what many are saying and thinks it is “really sad: that we should be used to being treated like animals”. Nicki Minaj says that she feels that it has gotten to the point where there is “no accountability”. Even though the last few highly publicized stories involved black people and white cops getting away with brutality, the communities are at a lose for how to handle it on both sides.
