Nicki Minaj has been known for a while as quite fearless in portraying herself to the public, and she tries to maintain a tough image, while at the same time she knows how to make herself attractive to her male fans. She’s also known for using somewhat extravagant outfits in some cases, which have drawn a lot of attention to her occasionally, with the most recent example being the production of her new music video, in which she appeared wearing a black dress that just barely covered her body.
Some critics who’ve watched the performance claimed that Minaj was on the verge of revealing herself inappropriately, but she seemed to be in control of the situation in the end, and knew what she was doing. Still, according to some, this is the most revealing outfit she has worn by far, and it’s pushing the limits even for her style.
The dress she wore was for the music video for “The Night Is Still Young”, which she was recording on March 11. Others involved in the new project include Casper, who also worked with her on “Anaconda”, and has been reported to be getting along with Minaj quite well lately. And this can certainly be seen in the way they collaborate on the set, releasing some absolute hits together.
Lately, Nicki Minaj has been rumored to be seeing Meek Mill, and these rumors became even stronger after a picture of the two was posted, showing them holding hands and looking quite affectionate in general. While it’s possible that the picture was just taken out of context, many seemed convinced of what they were seeing, and most of Minaj’s fans seem convinced that she will eventually announce that she’s with Meek Mill.
On the other hand, it’s also possible that the two might be together only temporarily, as a short relationship and nothing serious – in which case the relationship might be over before we get to hear about it. Nicki Minaj herself has come out with some public statements about the situation in an interview, claiming that the two are just friends and there’s nothing going on between them, but even that didn’t seem to convince most of her fans who are actively following the artist.
So far though, most who are talking about Nicki Minaj in the public space are commenting about her recent music video shoot, and the fact that she very narrowly avoided a wardrobe malfunction. Are we going to see Nicki Minaj in even more revealing outfits in the future, or is she perhaps actually going to tone it down now that she nearly had this accident?
