NCIS Season 13: Could Mike Franks Be Coming Back? Let’s See

No matter what happens with this part of the story, it’s going to affect the plot significantly. Gibbs is a major character on the show – as are his family members – and any time they’re put in danger, this always has fans very anxious.

These plot developments tend to affect pretty much every character on the show, at least the major ones, and if Gibbs ends up dying, this will surely have some serious long-term implications for the plot.

In the end though, the characters are going to find a way to overcome their loss. They always have, and this might be the kind of serious “kick” that they need in order to progress as characters and explore the deeper parts of their personalities. It’s a standard way of developing characters for some producers, and it often works quite well from what we’ve seen.

Still, it’s not the kind of development fans want to see, regardless of what benefits it might bring to the show, so hopefully the producers don’t decide to go down that road and have something else planned for Gibbs. After all, they could easily shake up the plot with something positive as well, and it doesn’t have to be a bad development that leaves everyone disappointed.

  1. Please do not take Gibbs off. I will stop watching when you do. I love all of the other characters in the show but I do not want Gibbs to leave.

    1. I’m with Peggy on this one. No Gibbs…I most likely won’t watch any more! Can not imagine anyone being able to take his place!!!!!

  2. Gibbs will survive but Glasberg has already stated that being betrayed by the kid is really going to mess with Gibbs’ head. Mike may serve as his ghost therapist for 1-? episodes. I have always loved Mike, so I’m glad he will visit Gibbs.
