As the season progresses, she will be seen getting back in the limelight as an agent and find a ground to balance her motherly duties on. Fans find this to be an endearing part of the show as they get to see Kensi in a new light dealing with the realities of life.
In the previous episode, Nell Jones takes on the spotlight with the interrogation with Karl Brown in which he reveals about his marriage with Nathalie. With the help of this back story, Eric Beale finds a footage of Nathalie; this results in him finding out that it was Nathalie who shot the two men. During the investigation, she says that she is open to the questions as long as she is kept safe.
Deeks is shown as her support system. Even though he has no issues with going back to work, he wants to finish the four-month therapy in order t gets back in the game. He constantly keeps reminding her of the same whenever she expresses displeasure about her slow recovery.
