This is so because none of her traps that were set till now had worked out or uncovered any hints.

Kensi Blye is seen dealing with the biggest challenge and mission in NCSI Los Angeles which is being a mother. She is seen completing motherly duties and the stress that comes along with the responsibility of being a new mother. She will be seen complaining about her brother, her mother and Marty Deek’s mother.
She is shown to try very hard to be strong about going back to work. She is seen recovering from her injuries and go back to work after experiencing weakness in the will to get back to work.
This is so because despite being able to shoot with her dominant hand, she isn’t sure about herself yet. Hetty sees her at the shooting range and shares her opinion as she still cannot fire with her left hand. However, Hetty encourages her to take her time and be back after she is sure of her recovery.
