As long as the producers manage to pull off the new installment in a way that respects the show’s fans and its past though, there’s certainly nothing wrong with continuing it for another round of episodes.
We can only hope that the new home the producers have found for the show won’t force them to make changes that they don’t want to make, as this has happened multiple times with other productions in the past.
It certainly won’t take long for fans to take notice of this either, and we’ve noticed that the followers of “Nashville” seem to be particularly sensitive to major changes being brought into their favorite production.
We did get some hints that the season will follow a slightly different format, so that’s already one indication that things will change to some extent. But beyond that, we don’t know exactly how much the producers of “Nashville” have done to alter the formula.
One of the more major hints we’ve gotten from them is that they are apparently aiming to make the new season feel as close as possible to the original premiere of the show. Whether or not that’s a good idea remains to be seen, but it certainly seems to have driven up the interest of some fans. And who knows, maybe a return to the roots is exactly what this show needs right now in order to move into the future.
