Mortal Kombat X PC Issues Continue to Undermine Warner Bros’ Reputation on the Platform!

For now, gamers are just hoping that Warner Bros will backtrack on their decision and decide to work in the favor of their fans, but as we said above, even if that did happen, it could be a bit too late to save the reputation of the studio.

On the other hand, NetherRealm have suffered a lot from this incident, and the studio might also find itself in a difficult position a few months from now. And if it turns out that the decision was entirely driven by the marketing decisions of the publisher, that would make things even worse for the developers.

The game itself got relatively good responses and many people were happy with the way it was handled at its core, but as we know, in this industry post-release support is just as important as a stellar initial release.

It certainly doesn’t help that the PC version was recently discounted during one of the major Steam sales, leaving many gamers feeling burned out after they got it cheaply. In the eyes of some, this was a cheap move by the publisher to milk a little extra cash from the game before they made the announcement that would most certainly kill almost all interest in it. We fully expect that gamers will be a bit more cautious with discounts by thus publisher in the future.
