Ed Boon, “Mortal Kombat” series creator, was the first to announce the upcoming arrival of the next downloadable character to the video game by tweeting that gamers should recreate the Predator movie in “Mortal Kombat X” which was accompanied by an image post showing the Predator squaring off with Jax, who is being played by Carl Weathers.
Gamers who want to play Predator without paying extra by buying the DLC character pack need to wait a while longer as the fighter may eventually be featured in the game’s challenge tower pretty soon.
In addition to the scheduled arrival of the Predator in July, it looks like “Mortal Kombat X” is looking to take in a major update soon too.
All indications point to the fact that Klassic Fatalities will come to the game as an update as evidenced in The Krypt where gamers have seen some of the upcoming content listed in the ‘Finishers’ section.
Before Jason Voorhees and Tanya arrived at the game, they were actually listed in The Krypt, which now has Sub-Zero, Scorpion, and Sonya having a third fatality listed.
The hint goes one step further as fatalities are also found in each character’s move list. The names of the finishing moves fall match up with fatalities in previous “Mortal Kombat” games such as Scorpion’s Toasty fatality.
