The relationship between Miley Cyrus and Patrick Schwarzenegger has been in the news quite prominently lately, and while many fans were excited to see their favorite stars together, there was also some more negative speculation going about. Some were worried that Arnold Schwarzenegger isn’t going to approve of this relationship, and he might try to put a stop to things – but it’s now become apparent that the case is the exact opposite.
Arnie seems to not just approve of the idea of his son dating Miley Cyrus, but he was actually excited with the prospect, and seemed happy with the partner his son has chosen. He also wanted all three of them to enter the new year together, and Miley Cyrus subsequently spent the entire holiday season with her boyfriend and his father. Alongside them was also Heather Milligan, who Arnold Schwarzenegger is currently dating.
The four of them apparently had a blast in Las Vegas, which was Arnold’s own suggestion, and right at midnight, Miley and Patrick shared a kiss which then made its way to various social media platforms. The group celebrated the event with Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello, who recently announced their engagement. They spent their time watching Britney Spears perform her “Piece of Me” concert right at the front row.
It’s also interesting to note that Arnie had to “endure” a vegetarian dinner at The Strip House when he was celebrating with the group, but this didn’t seem to affect him in any negative way, and he was still obviously having a lot of fun with his time.
Additionally, Miley and Patrick were reportedly much more serious about their partying, as they stayed up all night until 4 in the morning playing blackjack at the casino, while Arnie and his girlfriend decided to go to sleep early after midnight. Schwarzenegger then sent a funny tweet the next day, proclaiming that he had woken up in Hawaii but didn’t bring any clothes.
Not everyone around the new couple is so happy about their new relationship though – Maria Shriver, ex-wife of Arnold Schwarzenegger, isn’t that approving of her son going out with Miley Cyrus, something she has made clear. The ex-couple just finished the settling procedures for their divorce, splitting their fortune of a total $400 million on equal terms, and reportedly departed amicably, although rumors from behind the public spotlight claim that the situation was actually quite different, and it was apparently not an easy divorce in the slightest. Still, Arnie seems to be doing well now, and for what it’s worth, his son seems to be happy with the way his life is going as well, which in the end is all that matters.
