Microsoft Surface Pro 4 to Improve Over Surface Pro 3, Release Date Unknown!

Among the reports, it’s been revealed that an entire office in Salo has been closed, with some employees being transferred to other locations like Tampere. Meanwhile, some alleged Microsoft employees have been posting on the Internet claiming that they have received news of being laid off.

The situation seems bad, but according to some market analysts, it’s a necessary move for Microsoft as they’re finalizing their Nokia acquisition. The company has needed to drop some of its operating expenses for a while, and this has been in response to that situation.

Hopefully, this is the last round of layoffs for the former Nokia employees, and we’re going to hear about Microsoft starting to optimize their business in different ways. If they’re still interested in being active on the smartphone market, they should focus on getting a good exposure on it next.

The company has strong marketing in some areas, but a lower presence in other markets, and some experts have been claiming that they could stand to expand in some parts of the world. Of course, the company has its own market experts making those decisions and we don’t doubt that they have a good overview of the current situation, so we don’t know how much weight we should give to those comments.

  1. We certainly wouldn’t mind less a Surface Pro with less impressive hardware specs??? Speak for yourself… I’m only looking forward to Surface Pro 4 because of possible hw upgrades, otherwise there’s nothing in it for me! I’m especially hoping there would be upgrades/improvements to the n-trig digitizer and pen, also I’d greatly benefit from a newer/beefier cpu & igpu!
