There have been reports recently that stated that Schumacher’s wife, Corinna Betsch, has been selling property belonging to the family, claiming that the racer would never be able to use it again anyway so it’s a bit irrelevant at the moment.
In that case, it could be true that the family is strained financially, although we hope that their situation is not really that dire that they would have to start selling off estate in order to keep moving forward.
It’s worth noting that Schumacher has numerous fans who would readily jump at his support and will be glad to provide him with their own assistance in taking care of those hospital bills. Of course, no matter how much some people may want to help, it’s questionable how realistic that could be in the context of Schumacher’s current needs.
It’s a sad story all around, and it will likely not have a very positive outcome either, which must make the situation that much more difficult for the racer’s family. But with the support of so many people, we are sure that the burden of the incident has been at least a little bit lighter on the wife and family of the racer, and we hope that things will not turn out so grim in the end.
