Back then, she expressed a lot of mixed feelings towards the singer, going as far as to call his advances “cringeworthy”, and she seemed amused by the fact that he had approached her.
Now that this controversy has died down though, Khalifa has made yet another public statement against a celebrity, which shot her right back into the headlines. Some seem convinced that she’s doing this on purpose at this point, doing whatever she can to get some extra publicity.
In her latest rant, Mia Khalifa picked Lady Gaga to criticize, talking specifically about her choice of clothing for the 2015 Oscars, where the singer appeared in a white gown designed by Azzedine Alaia, complete with a stylish pair of red gloves. The outfit drew some criticism from fashion commenters, which is a typical response to Lady Gaga’s appearances, as she often dresses in very provocative, controversial ways. Mia Khalifa was among the voices of criticism, poking fun at Lady Gaga’s appearance on Twitter.
She was far from the only one making such comments after the Oscars though, as the whole Internet blew up about Lady Gaga’s clothing for a short while after she came up on the stage, and the singer managed to remain in the spotlight for a few days afterwards. However, according to some prominent figures in the celebrity world, this can actually work in Lady Gaga’s benefit, as the old saying “no publicity is bad publicity” tends to remain true today.
Mia Khalifa recently revealed that she’s actually been enjoying a lot of attention from various other (male) celebrities, and Drake was far from the first one to approach her in a more explicit way. However, she didn’t want to reveal the full list of names of celebrities, though she did let the name of Drake slip. While she tried to play it off as if she didn’t actually want to reveal she’s talking about Drake, she did make it pretty obvious.
The porn actress is currently at the peak of her fame, and she’s been getting a lot of attention from both her fans as well as other celebrities. However, it’s a well-known fact that the adult industry is a fast-moving one, and the popularity of stars tends to fluctuate very rapidly. Mia Khalifa might have realized that if she doesn’t step up her appearances in the media, she could risk losing her fame to someone else soon.
