Lebanese-American pornstar Mia Khalifa is being accused of transphobia for her recent negative comments on Caitlyn Jenner on social media. Transphobia is the intense dislike or prejudice against transsexual or transgender people.
Everyone knows that the most popular and controversial transgender nowadays is Caitlyn Jenner, the former Bruce Jenner, who used to be the patriarch of the Jenner-Kardashian families.
While the adult film star, who is now the most search porn star on Pornhub, may have just said her comments to Caitlyn Jenner in jest, some of the fans, particularly those belonging to the growing communities of LBGTs, felt slighted by the barb thinking that Mia Khalifa was making fun of Caitlyn’s and their gender orientation.
Many describe Mia Khalifa’s comments on Caitlyn as rude and sharp and have no place on social media.
Although the porn star has drawn supporters of her own on the issue including some celebrities, they were nonetheless outnumbered by those who think that what Mia Khalifa did was foul, notes the Movie News Guide.
Upon seeing Caitlyn Jenner’s photo on social media, Mia Khalifa made fun of it and said that Bruce went from paying $20 to get in the club free before 11:30.
She also tweeted that gentlemen should beware of Decepticons. Decepticons are the antagonist robots in “Transformers” which are the nemesis of the Autobots.
Letting it all slide
However, instead of offering her apology on the issue, Mia Khalifa simply let the controversy slide as if nothing really happened. Obviously, her comments were meant only as jokes and not directed towards the person or her character.
It would have helped Mia as well had she known that Caitlyn as Bruce Jenner had dealt with gender dysphoria since her childhood. An Olympic champion in men’s decathlon event back in 1976, Caitlyn said that she has undergone hormone replacement therapy as well as some cosmetic surgeries and publicly stated that she is a woman back in April.
But her recent social media stunt has shoved the porn star back into the limelight and into the controversial issue that she would rather not go up against because it’s obviously an uncharted territory for her.
Of late, however, Mia Khalifa decided to lie low on the issue and went back instead to tweeting about updates on the sport of basketball, hockey, and her favorite of them all, American football.
Wish granted
It was a wish granted for porn star Mia Khalifa back in May when former Notre Dame Quarterback Everett Golson confirmed that he will be playing for the Florida State Seminoles this year.
Mia was among the firsts to officially welcome Golson to his new college football team when she tweeted back then welcoming the Quarterback to the family.
Mia is obviously referring to the Florida States Seminoles family, where she claims to be its unofficial mascot and officially a die-hard fan.
Getting Everett Golson to its fold is a big win for Florida State Seminoles after losing Heisman Trophy winner James Winston in the 2015 NFL Draft. Winston was selected No. 1 overall in the recent 2015 NFL Draft by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Golson is more than a capable replacement for Winston. He led Notre Dame to a national championship before falling out of favor in South Bend.
Apart from Golson, Mia Khalifa also attempted to lure into the Florida State Seminoles fold Quarterback Braxton Miller early this year but did not get the positive interest that the Seminoles got from Golson.
The week before Seminoles officially acquired Golson, Mia Khalifa’s Twitter account was full of excitement over the prospect of landing Everett Golson for the Florida State Seminoles.
She was actually one of those millions in Florida hoping to finally land the prolific QB to their fold. She mentioned some of the things that Golson could look forward to if and when he finally agrees to join and play for the FSU including oranges, the sunshine, and crab legs too.
