There has been a lot of excitement around “Sister Wives” as the show has been pulling various surprises on its fans, and it looks like things are going to get even more serious in the future. At the end of the last season, we saw Meri making the decision to end her marriage with Kody, allowing him to marry Robyn legally and adopt her children. Reality TV shared a post from Meri recently, in which there was a strong implication that Meri is looking to move on with her life after her decision to break things off with Kody. Kody, on the other hand, admitted that he would like to have another 25 years with her on Twitter, but this was left unanswered by Meri. She made no comment on that tweet and didn’t even acknowledge it, so it doesn’t look like she shares the same sentiment.
At the same time, Meri has been quite active on her Twitter account, mostly posting random quotes that seem related to her current situation, such as complaining about not being where she actually should be, and thanking god in other quotes.
She also posted a tweet saying that every girl needs a good man, raising some eyebrows in the community of the show’s fans, but in the end, if she’s not happy with her marriage, there’s not much anyone else can do to save the situation between her and Kody.
It’s not clear what’s going through her head right now, and it will likely take some time before we see what she truly thinks of her divorce and the decisions that lead up to it. We also don’t know if she would choose to stay in the house or go ahead and finalize her breakup, but things are certainly leaning in the latter direction right now and it doesn’t seem very likely that she would choose to stay.
With that in mind, season 6 of the show could be dramatically different. This change alone could have various strong implications on the overall development of the show, and we’re curious to see what the writers have prepared for the upcoming episodes. There have been hints that there are more surprises planned and we would see various interesting developments over this season, and of course this has immediately led to lots of heated discussion online.
